This year’s annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday, November 29, 11:00am-2:00pm, at the Enmanji Memorial Hall (1200 Hwy 116 So., Sebastopol). This event is open to the public and free of charge.
- Join us for a short meeting, where members will vote for next year’s board.
- A screening of short documentary films (3-8 minutes each), portraits of Asian immigrant journeys to America, from the early 1900s to 2021, from different countries and cultures will be shown. All of the films are personal stories, narrated by those who either lived the experience or their descendants. Q&A will follow with the filmmaker who led this project.
- Lunch – JACL will provide the main dish, and asks that attendees bring a potluck salad, side dish or dessert.
