Sonoma County JACL’s Speakers Bureau is pleased to present its first online Kamishibai presentation by Zoom on Wednesday, May 24, 7-8pm.
A story of Yuki and Taro is about a Japanese American family living in Sebastopol during the World War II era. The story was created using local Japanese Americans’ experience from that time. The story is presented using a Kamishibai (picture panels) format.
The Speakers Bureau reaches out to approximately 2000 students each year from elementary schools to the college level. It is very important to keep this history alive, so we can help prevent this tragic experience from happening again.
